It feels good.
Of course, “38” seems much different than I imagined it.
THANK YOU for being a part of my journey. I consider that to be a blessing beyond words.
If you are wondering what to get me for a gift…
My NBC show is in danger of being canceled.
The show/site launched a bunch of community tools this month – like being able to post confessions (not just listen to mine), discuss any confession, or say, “me too!”
Unfortunately, these features came with the direction from above, “Get some page views…or else.”
I’m trying to stay non-attached to the outcome, but at the same time, this has been a dream job that I’d hate to lose. So if you have a few more minutes, I just uploaded TWO new videos to “Fears. Regrets. Desires.”
Or, just click around and see what other people have confessed. If the mood strikes you, share some of yourself. (You can stay anonymous.)
The BIG PICTURE goal of the site is to show how the shameful things that make us feel different are actually what connects us.
It would be a big help if you checked it out (and shared the link). At the very least check out a 94 year old lasso a beetle.
If you’re not into that whole corporate network thang, check out this week’s HugNation. It was magical. Something about the energy in the room took me over and it felt like I was channeling something larger. When I watched the video, I didn’t remember saying any of it – but felt like I needed to hear it.
(I’ll have it uploaded later today)
Sorry to be so promotional. 🙂 Truth be told, I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed with the twitterblogstreamiverse, lately. I’ve been just as active with creating things, but feeling less motivated to scream, “lookatme!” whenever I upload something new. (I know, right? maybe I’m showing my age??) But for my birthday, I figured I should fill my lungs, put on a party hat, and scream, “LOOK AT ME!!!”
Again, THANK YOU for being a part of my journey.
